Dear Stephen,
I have been trying to make heads or tails of all of this with lyme and I need some help. I am lyme positive per Igenex and was lyme positive per CDC in 2014. I was misdiagnosed with lupus in 2009. Confirmed as lyme in 2015 through Igenex and muscle biopsy to rule out lupus. I treated with antibiotics for 4 months with an LLMD pretty aggressively and went into liver failure. Now I am on the mend and treating with herbs and BIE (Bioenergetic Intolerance Elimination). My body feels like it is attacking itself, especially my eyes. I have floaters, flashes, after images, shadows, halos and glares and astigmatism. I also feel like my eyes are under attack at times, which has now moved into my ears with ringing and popping and feeling like something is crawling through my skull. I feel like we have awakened a sleeping giant. Anyhow, I was wondering if it is okay to do the essential oils with the herbs? I just started both herbs and oils this week and I do not want to overdo it. In addition to lyme I have CMV, EBV, HSV, HH6, babesia and mycoplasma pneumoniae. What should I and should I not take?
Stephen’s response:
There are some specific things we recommend for treating eye problems from lyme and the other co-infections, page 225 of the new edition. They may be of help. If you look through the babesia and mycoplasma books, you can see the overlap with the lyme protocol herbs. You can add other specific herbs as needed. Babesia is often fairly straightforward, primarily using antibacterial herbs specific for babesia. Mycoplasma can be more tricky and difficult but the protocol does help, often reversing the infection. And by oils, do you mean essential oils or ?
Stephen
