Dear Stephen,

After my second lyme infection, I started to cough often. I cough mostly when my throat is irritated, often after swallowing supplements and eating. I also cough at other times especially due to irritation. Why could coughs be related to lyme and what to do about them? Thank you.

Stephen’s response:

We see coughs more commonly with bartonella than lyme. We normally suggest the use of elderberry elixir, as needed, horehound can help, and if it is bartonella we recommend the use of sida acuta tincture (you can get it from woodlandessence.com or julie@gaianstudies.org). Hope this helps.

Stephen
