Dear Stephen,
One of my friends who practices siddha medicine in India has suggested I try Clerodendrum inerme or Glory Bower plant. I would like to know your opinion on this. Based on the research paper below it says that it is effective against gram positive bacteria. How effective this will be for lyme and co-infections? I’m looking for a source to buy. Do you know where can I get this in the states? Here is the research paper. Here are the preparation steps.

Stephen’s response:
I am not up on that herb, so can’t really give much feedback on it. Sorry.

Hello ~ There is an herbalist/medical astrologer named Ingrid Naiman who might be your best source of information on such questions about siddha medicine. Here is one of her websites:

She is a prolific writer and researcher.
clerodendrum inerme WILL WILL WILL help you. 50 small leaves or 20 big leaves -liquidise in a little water then strain. take this 2x per week for a month ,then once a week till symptoms are gone. helped my son with tourettes that i believe is caused by bacteria.
Where did you get the leaves? I’m in the U.S…
My 11 year old daughter has motor/vocal ticcing symptoms that our LLMD says are due to her lyme/bartonella infection. We are treating her at the moment with abx, and are also using several herbs recommended by Stephen Buhner. I have heard that C. inerme helps with ticcing. I would love to be able to find some.
Hi Louise,
Hope you are ok.
Regarding Clerodendrum Inerme, were you able to get it for your daughter?
We live in The Netherlands, Europe. It looks like I was able to import it for my son.
Best,
Richard
How do I secure Clerodendrum inerme to help with my daughter’s motor tic
Please let me know. We live in the US
You can get the plant in the U.S. from http://www.toptropicals.com. That is where I got it for my son’s Tourette/tics.
Erin, in what form did you give it to him? I have seen a homeopathic remedy recommended, or dried leaves in a capsule. How did you prepare it?
Hi hope I am not too late for this discussion. Can you recommend what is the best way? I saw how to make 30c potency in YouTube. Show I do that or just give him dried leave in capsule?
